In the last "Check my progress" I was being told that I had to create the managed instance groups, which, from my perspective, I had already created according to specification. Obviously, I was still doing something wrong, but since it was not giving me any feedback about what it was (was it the name, was it the region, etc.), my only choice was to start doing trial and error, which simply doesn't work with a running timer. I feel I need to retake the lab, not because I was doing something fundamentally wrong or because I don't know what I'm doing, but because there is a minor deviation that trips the check (or so I think). And I don't even know if I will magically get it right the second time around either. And, ultimately, that's time invested in vain. So yeah, maybe in this instance I would have appreciated a bit more information in the check, if that makes sense. More detailed feedback seems especially important in the kind of Challenge Labs that are usually done first (in introductory courses), were people are still getting their bearing with the tool. PS: The requirement "Create all resources in the default region or zone, unless otherwise directed." threw me off. At least when using normal (non-legacy) health checks, I wasn't able to add the Managed Instance Group to the Backend Service, where I was getting a cryptic "CONNECTION balancing mode is not supported for protocol HTTP" error message, and if I tried to change the balancing mode (to RATE, for example) I was then getting "'RATE'. Balancing mode must be CONNECTION for backend service of Network Load Balancer.". When I tried to create, health checks, backend service and everything after that as global resources it worked and allowed me to pass the Lab, despite being apparently against the explicit requirement of creating everything in the default region or zone.

Can't get the lab to recognize the managed instance. NO DETAILS on why it is not found. NO INSTRUCTIONS except for using a template. No name is specified. No tags are specified. No identifiers that I could see.
