You are missing one step o this lesson or the previous one. You are not mentioning the need for named ports on the backend service gcloud compute instance-groups managed create nucleus-webserver-group \ --base-instance-name nucleus-webserver \ --template=nucleus-template --size=2 --named-ports http:80 without it there is a warning on the backend service. The nginx serevres will be reacheable but it won't give you points and won't tell you what is wrong either
