In the "Service Accounts and Roles: Fundamentals" lab, I gained practical experience in managing and using service accounts within Google Cloud. I learned how to create and manage service accounts, associate them with virtual machines, and grant appropriate IAM roles. The lab provided hands-on practice with accessing BigQuery from a Compute Engine instance, allowing me to run queries on public datasets using service account credentials. This lab was instrumental in deepening my understanding of secure and efficient management of service accounts and their roles in Google Cloud environments.
