Great lab, but with it has a builtin issue with the firewall rules. The lab ask us to create a firewall rule to allow icmp between the VMs with a priority of 65535. Doing so will prevent the VMs from pinging each other, because the rule is in conflict with the builtin implied rules that exists on VPC networks: https://cloud.google.com/firewall/docs/firewalls#default_firewall_rules From the doc: Implied IPv4 deny ingress rule. An ingress rule whose action is deny, source is 0.0.0.0/0, and priority is the lowest possible (65535) protects all instances by blocking incoming connections to them. A higher priority rule might allow incoming access. So the icmp firewall rule we are creating in this lab should have at least priority 65534. Rating the lab with one star in the hope that someone will read this, confirm the issue and fix the issue. Otherwise, would rate it 5 :).
