In this lab, I gained hands-on experience with Google Cloud's HTTP(S) load balancing and Cloud Armor. I learned how to set up and configure an HTTP Load Balancer with global backends, create and manage instance templates and instance groups, and implement both IPv4 and IPv6 load balancing. The lab also involved stress testing the load balancer and applying Cloud Armor to denylist specific IPs to restrict access. Overall, it provided a comprehensive understanding of balancing traffic across multiple backends and securing access at the edge of the Google Cloud network.
