Opinie (Introduction to Amazon Aurora)

There were some issues with this lab. The recommended RDP client for Mac didn't work. I ended up using the Microsoft client from the app store. The way that the Aurora Databases are set up in AWS has changed to a one page workflow with a lot of collapsed areas. There is also an error that shows up about the user not having rights. I didn't have an issue ignoring this flag and I was able to work through the differences but the lab guide will probably need to be updated.

I expected it to be more aimed at the possibilities of Aurora with the cluster capabilities. Having the MySQL setup as a reference felt unnecessary.

The MySQL Workbench crashed in the middle of the lab. I restarted it My work was autosaved, so at least I didn't lose anything.

can not log in to remote desktop

The instructions no longer look like the configuration wizard as of of 11 July 2019. The layout and terms in the wizard might have changed since this lab was written. I was stuck at Task 3. I wasn't sure what 'full endpoint name' referred to. I tried multiple endpoints, starting with the endpoint of the reader, and couldn't connect to any though the status of my aurora db says it is available. A screenshot of the author's MySQL workbench would be helpful.
