Great lab. But the time is not enough. It took a while for me to draw up in my notebook (1) Security group created for RDS D access (e.g. rds-qls-1301219...dbsecuritygroup" (2)this has a a rule type to allow 3306 and (3) the source for this is sg-7947cc03 (4) went back to see what this sg-7947cc03 is (5) How subnetgroup has a security group to allow SSH access that has elastic IP of 35.163.81.5 and internal IP of 10.0.0.7 on subnet 10.0.00/24 (6) How VPC-Lab is created with 10.0.0.0/16 in region (7) how to Availability zones are created each in different regions. (Suggestion: What i feel is there should be a clearly flow chart indicated what has to be created as pre-requisite, what will be used where. This will help. If now in this lab then atleast in the documentation.

sample database was small enough that the performance between the two types of DB's was approximately identical. Maybe have a 1 MB sample data file with more rows?
