How I should compare the two databases with a SELECT-Query which returns only 14 entries??? Even when I inserted 50000 more, there were no differences in the performance. I really want to see the proof for Aurora to beeing faster.

RDS does not work with MAC OS. You'll need to download the one from the Apple App Store

As someone who has used other AWS services in the past, I feel that this lab gave me no training on how to use RDS or Aurora instead focusing more on using one specific tool to load data into MySQL and Aurora instance without any context for what I was doing or why I was doing it. I could have gotten better training from a StackOverflow thread on how to create an Aurora instance.
