Configure Secure RDP using a Windows Bastion Host: Challenge Lab Reviews

At the RDP to bastion vm step: even though external IP is assigned, the RDP button is disabled with the message "This instance does not have an external IP". I checked troubleshooting section - this scenario is not there. Is the error message actually misleading?
