I recently completed the "Getting Started with BigQuery ML" lab, and it was an enlightening experience. This lab provided hands-on practice with creating, evaluating, and using machine learning models directly in BigQuery using SQL queries. I learned how to set up datasets, build a logistic regression model to predict visitor transactions, and evaluate its performance using metrics like precision and recall. The practical exercises, such as predicting purchases by country and user, were particularly valuable. Overall, this lab significantly boosted my confidence in leveraging BigQuery ML for real-world machine learning tasks.
