There were some problems when I tried to run the Jupyternotebook. The kernel kept dying and restarting over and over again. I tried to create a new conda env and run the notebook with it. I even tried to delete the Vertex notebook instance and created a new one but none of them work. I figured it out it was because of the "Restart kernel" and "Set your project ID" cells. The problem may be the result of the attempt to use `os.getenv` or `IPython` in the notebook. I commented on those cells and everything works fine. Hope this can help you fix the issue so no one will have to deal with this again.
