Instructions out of date. Instructions say to use "US Standard" region, which doesn't exist , then script hardcodes to use us-east-1 resulting in error loading -data in page.

Content is outdated to user interface updates - or I totally missed something.

S3 is sufficiently different now that these instructions should be updated.

The flow of steps in the lab did not match the actual AWS steps - AWS has a new create bucket flow. Also - shouldn't the Javascript be changed to have the correct region for my buckets in it? I did that, to be safe... everything worked, so I don't know if it maters. For example, my region for my buckets were us-west-2...

Need to update to account for new S3 console. Adding permissions did to grant list for everyone did not make sense until I switched to the old console. Also in the new S3 console there is no "Standard" region. Inconjuction with the previous comment the index.html file assumes us-east-1 as the region so I got an error initially. Once I updated the file to correctly use the region I entered the website worked. The line number in index.html is 136.

It was a good lab. But some of the instructions were out of date. The instructions did not always match the current AWS interface (for controlling access to S3 bucket).

The open-data-S3-2014.zip doesn't download making it impossible to progress further in the lab. You need to either incorporate the JS/html into the instructions or at least offer some other download mirrors. Users shouldn't be able to spend credits and not have access to the resources needed to complete the lab.

Many of the instructions are out of date and do not reflect the current console GUI

I had below error: Error accessing S3 bucket myweb-data. Error: Networking Error: Network Failure. In addition, I was unable to locate Steps 41 to 44. Instead I used Control Access List in Permission tab. I am not sure if that caused the error. Please investigate. Thanks!
