Probably should provide the user name that needs to be logged into the Linux box because it is "Ubuntu" instead of "ec2-user"

It would be good to branch in the instructions and say want to try to fix the Python changes to use memcache for the session data ? There's several steps like having to add param for port to settings.py, etc. But overall good..

I got the idea, but the lab didn't provide the refresh "inconsistency" experience before switching to cross-AZ load balancing.

If I left the region to 1 - Virginia, it worked fine. If I changed it to my local region, the EC2 instance was not there.
