Lab has issues with steps in task 6 Add Resource Properties. Option to replace current template does not exist.

Very informative content, however I was not able to complete the lab because the environment would not allow me to update the stack per the instructions. It gave me an error about not being allowed to add more than one instance. Instead I had to delete and create a new stack

This lab was very good. Little slow at the start, but found the information on using cloudformation to bootstrap and re-deploy/update applications very helpful. Found one issue where the templates listed m5.large as an option but all the documentation referred to m4.large and the lab will not actually allow you to create an m5.large. I worked around this by changing the template to list an m4.large instead. I've let someone know and they're working on updating it.

There isn't a replace template option. On the step where i use lab4, it kept updating fail. I skipped to lab5 and discovered that I need to select instance type micro. Due to a restriction of not allowing two large to run at the same time. Add an instruction in the lab4 part to say: Your previous instance was a large, now make sure you select the micro.

There are errors on the lab3, lab4 and lab5 template as it is using m5.large than m4.large. Replacing and uploading the m5 with m4 did the trick.

still a lot for me to learn in regards to CFTs but look to be quite powerful and flexible
