Completing the "Collect Metrics from Exporters using the Managed Service for Prometheus" lab was an insightful experience. I gained hands-on knowledge of deploying a GCE instance and configuring the node-exporter tool, building and deploying the GMP binary, and applying Prometheus configurations to collect metrics. The lab provided practical experience with setting up a GKE cluster, creating namespaces, deploying applications, configuring PodMonitoring resources, and running both Prometheus and node-exporter binaries. Overall, this lab enhanced my understanding of using Google's managed service for Prometheus to monitor infrastructure effectively.
