task 4 is not suceeding, although task 5 was successfully run and the overall job is done.

I was able to get task4 to work by changing the build region to us-central1 instead of the lab assigned us-west1

You messed up the deploy cloud function check

Attempted it again, this time successfully. Didn't do anything different. The only noticeable difference is that I was assigned a different region to work with this time. The validation for task 4 happened almost instantly, rather than sit there for a long time. I wonder if in some cases it is having trouble reading the logs (I assume this is how it knows that the function has been deployed).

task 4 won't validate, although it is working properly and task 5 was successful (documents have been processed) - I suspect another bug in the validation logic. It complains that I need to deploy a function that is triggered by that storage account (which I have). I tried creating an additional dummy function triggered by that storage account, which didn't help. Unfortunately I don't have all day to play "guess what I'm thinking" so a 1-star from me, disappointing as this is a waste of 5 credits.
