the subnets didn't match between VPC console and EC2 console. Could not reach the routers on port 80. :(

The monitoring didn't work as described in the final step - the graphs remained unpopulated even when I exercised the ELB by refreshing my browser tab that was connected to the ELB

straight forward lab was expecting to see ELB working with auto scaling.......... but the concept of ELB is clear from this lab
