I was able to launch the multiple server web farm, configured the Linux instances and created a load balancer..and of course viewed the metrics in CloudWatch..and the my score did not change from 10/20 - 20/20..Very frustrating.

Simple introduction to setting up an Elastic Load Balancer. Does not go into advanced configuration options, but still a good introduction.
