I would have liked to see a segment with stopping an instance and seeing metrics/alarms/recovery.

Very frustrating. When I got to the section where you are supposed to start the load balancer I couldn't find it. The directions said go to management console and it would be on the left side. It wasn't. I spent 8 minutes flailing around the management console looking for the load balancer , I tried searching for it, I tried googling it. I finally stumbled across it. For such a critical part of the lesson, the instructions should have been much more clear.
