The lab was broken, I could not get access to the EC2 or ELB instances because the networks ACL were locked down to IPV6. I even tried to create new networks using IPV4 and they seemed bugged as well.

Straight forward. More exercises are needed to test what happens when instances go down. More in-depth coverage about metrics would be helpful as well.
