It's a bit unclear what the cloudwatch alarm was for. I assume it notifies about any lambda error. This should have been described in greater detail.

Better explanations of the code would be nice. These are really just having us cut and paste text and use the AWS console. There is no meat to these. My 13 year old kid could complete them without knowing anything about programming. Cool for the kid but useless for me.
