Task 2.2: metadata_startup_script causes the instances to be destroyed but we are told it should be an in-place change. I think that is because we are updating the wrong attribute. The overall instructions were also confusing for me as some instructions insinuated that I needed to edit a certain file even though I didn't. Not sure if I just misunderstood the instructions.

Task 1 validation is very strict; had multiple instances.tf files that seemed to work fine. TF was happy, GCP was happy, but I didn't pass it for over an hour. Eventually I found the right mix of exact values; I'm not sure what exactly I changed. I had to download my files so I can review later and see just what fixed it.

There is something wrong with step 1, it is possible to succeed in the task and all subsequent steps, but for task 1 to 'do it the wrong way' so that the automated validation step fails. It might be to do with the version of the google provider used.
