It seems that if I manage to keep compute engine instances in place task is not accepted, but instances need to get new state task to pass. This seemed to me different than described.

It's buggy. I did everything and it worked well, however the check for tasks 1 and 6 failed. upd, I managed to get step 1 pass by destroying and re-creating everything. it failed when just doing an in-place update as per instruction step 6 is totally not working version 6.0.0 is not compatible with the latest google provider not specifying the version works fine, but the lab just doesn't accept this sadly, there's no way to pass this lab with 100% score upd upd. you must use version 6.0.0 of the network module to make it pass. to avoid compatibility issues, you must to specify old version of the google provider, like 4.53.0. that's very weird.

I could not finish task 2 for unknown reason. I think I did everythink what was required, but the result after a few attempts is stil the same - "create instances.tf and import" (the file existed, import was succeed...)
