I think that this lab should be rewritten to really emphasize that reading the "Introduction to function calling" document is necessary to have proper understanding. I only read that document after completing the lab steps, and then had to go back through the steps again to refine my understanding. Another major issue: please proof read the checkpoint completions in this lab: Course: Develop GenAI Apps with Gemini and Streamlit Lab: Introduction to Function Calling with Gemini Task: 3 Problem: The Task 3 checkpoint is labeled as "Generate a simple weather function call."? This never occurred in the notebook "intro_function_calling.ipynb". I understand that the "Introduction to function calling" document talks about the weather, but weather discussions are absent from this lab! Otherwise this is a pivotal moment in my understanding of how to use generative AI to speed up translation of natural sentences into JSON requests! Awesome!
