I wasn't able to connect via rdp to the instance via the external ip, even though I followed the instructions to the point. could be that the company network is not allowing it, however google should provide a way to use rdp for this lab which bypasses all network issues. I could ping the instance, but neither mobaxterm nor windows remote desktop allowed a connection.
