I recently completed the "Compute Engine: Qwik Start - Windows" lab on Cloud Skill Boost, and it was a fantastic learning experience. This lab walked me through the process of launching a Windows Server instance on Google Cloud and connecting to it using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). I gained hands-on experience with creating and configuring virtual machine instances, managing boot disks with Windows images, and ensuring proper RDP connectivity. The practical approach and clear instructions helped me understand how to leverage Compute Engine for running Windows applications effectively. Overall, it was a valuable introduction to managing Windows VMs in Google Cloud.
