I had an issue with the provided command to connect to SSH. The given command was: gcloud compute ssh gcelab2 --zone $ZONE It said that the --zone was expecting a value. I was not sure at first, but when I noticed the error I had to add the “=” after the zone flag myself. After setting the passphrase I got another error: (gcloud.compute.ssh) could not parse the resource [] I was unable to connect to ssh on that instance of the shell, therefore, it did not allowed me to proceed with the nginxs installation and further steps. I had to open a new instance of the shell and close the old one, then repeating nearly all steps in the lab to get to the same point, the difference is that it worked this time.
