gcloud docker command will be changing soon: WARNING: `gcloud docker` will not be supported for Docker client versions above 18.03. As an alternative, use `gcloud auth configure-docker` to configure `docker` to use `gcloud` as a credential helper, then use `docker` as you would for non-GCR registries, e.g. `docker pull gcr.io/project-id/my-image`. Add `--verbosity=error` to silence this warning: `gcloud docker --verbosity=error -- pull gcr.io/project-id/my-image`. See: https://cloud.google.com/container-registry/docs/support/deprecation-notices#gcloud-docker When creating my cluster with the following command: gcloud container clusters create hello-world \ --num-nodes 2 \ --machine-type n1-standard-1 \ --zone us-central1-a I initially received an error: Google Compute Engine does not have enough resources available to fulfill request: us-central1-a. Because I couldn't create the cluster in that zone, I couldn't get the progress check to pass. For this section: This is the output you should see: deployment "hello-node" created The output is now: deployment.apps "hello-node" created There's a typo in this note: Note: Building and pushing this updated image should be quicker caching is being taken advantage of. missing a "now that" before caching
