I recently completed the "Cloud Functions: 3 Ways: Challenge Lab" on Cloud Skill Boost. This lab presented a real-world scenario where I had to leverage my existing skills to create, deploy, and test cloud functions using three different triggers: Cloud Storage events, HTTP requests, and automated activities in a Google Cloud project. The challenge required me to enable necessary APIs, configure IAM permissions, and ensure proper deployment configurations to handle cold starts and manage instance limits. It was an excellent way to apply learned concepts in a practical setting, testing my ability to troubleshoot and adapt to new requirements without step-by-step instructions.
