Some parts of the lab are not provided with correct instructions or alternatives if the code doesn't work. I would say that this lab requires knowledge in shell programming, at least the basic commands and understanding of return messages in the terminal.

still working on it.... need more time. This time got further but could not complete still! will have to try attempt #4 later! last job ran for 25 minutes and then failed. This was disappointing. I will probably try again but need to move on.
