I recently completed the "Networking Fundamentals on Google Cloud: Challenge Lab," which was an excellent opportunity to apply my networking skills in a practical, hands-on environment. This lab challenged me to create an auto-mode VPC network, set up multiple web server instances with firewall rules, and configure both network and HTTP load balancers to distribute traffic across my Compute Engine VMs. The experience of troubleshooting and resolving issues independently, without step-by-step instructions, significantly enhanced my problem-solving abilities and deepened my understanding of Google Cloud's networking services. This lab not only solidified my foundational knowledge but also prepared me for more advanced networking tasks in real-world scenarios.
