I have tried the lab twice. Upon running the command to create the Kubernetes cluster, I get disconnected from my cloud shell and then when trying to reconnect I see the following error message: Your Google Cloud Shell session was terminated due to excessive egress network traffic.

I had problem with auth at the beginning of Lab: ERROR: (gcloud.container.clusters.create-auto) You do not currently have an active account selected. Please run: $ gcloud auth login to obtain new credentials. If you have already logged in with a different account, run: $ gcloud config set account ACCOUNT to select an already authenticated account to use. Resolved it by gcloud auth login and generating verification code through browser.
