There is a huge mismatch between lad description and lab interface. Also , lab interface doesnt accept the command gcloud compute instances create --zone $ZONE instance-2 and requires fixes

Outdated lab with wrong buttons. Time also should be 1 hour since it takes a while to get a hold of whats happening and a lot of the resources take many minutes to form
