*Important notice* You cannot complete Task 2 and on without updating the backup, which is not covered in this tutorial. The steps are: 1. In the Management Console, click Manage and select Appliance Updates. 2. Right-click an update name and select Install. 3. Select the backup template that you created previously. 4. Click Apply. When the update installation process starts, the Installation Jobs page opens. This is where you can check the status of the update. This will run for about 30 minutes. there is an error. this is my third attempt and it appears the issue wasn't resolved yet since i reported it.

Even though the instructions say that the status of Update Pending does not impact the lab - that is incorrect - this lab is broken. And no one has contacted me yet after reporting it.

I've submitted this issue to your Qwiklab support in Zendesk. They noted the issue but not yet solved (until now). Could you allow me as passed ??! I'm only pending this lab in the whole course.

Following appliances are out of support and need to be upgraded immediately. Go to the Appliance Update page for updating the appliances to a supported version. qwiklabs-appliance

The lab cannot execute the closing of task 2, which is backup of the VM. Please provide an alternative sokuttion. 2 tries failed. ---------------- 3rd tried found the source of error for task2 onward. The qwiklabs-appliance is not updated now in RED exclamation mark due to 2 pending updates which were not applied. A review of the lab is necesary.^ ------------09sept2024_1157AM_JST---------- Planned to take this lab, but still "qwiklabs appliance is out of support" issue persists thus not allowing the lab to be finished.
