setup for the lab takes too much time. It makes it difficult to actually experiment with the code. The lab time could/should be increased to 2 hours.

The credential didn't work and while seeing/stepping through all the setup steps, which are extensive, it didn't teach anything about actually building RAG apps. This was a configuration lab. When a lab has this many steps, each representing a potential error point for new user, it's easy to get derailed and end up with nothing to show for the time. An improvement would be to have the environment pre-built and then focus on how to build RAG apps.

This is a pretty terrible lab. Way too much setup. We haven't even run a query yet, and there's 10 minutes left to go in the webinar. In production you'd probably just terraform all this stuff. Qwiklabs projects can be configured where lots of services like this are already running, so the users don't have to waste so much time with setup. That said, the application is interesting and helpful. However, the lab provides zero insight into how it works. Overall I learned very little from this lab.
