No even after multiple attempts first step was not getting marked as completed. Even though from cloud console I can see clusters were created and status of cluster was Running. Please note subsequent 7 steps were successful. I connected with support person , and she mentioned that there is no issue with lab and there has to be issue with my step executions. I also got response from support person that there is no dependancies between steps
